At Fort Munro DG Khan, United States travel blogger was gang-raped


Arbela Arpi, a US travel blogger popularly known as "The Spicy Travel Girl," is accused of being gang-raped by tour guides at a hotel for the night in Dera Ghazi Khan's Fort Munro.


A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in accordance with Sections 376 and 292B of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), and an inquiry into the terrible incident is currently ongoing.
On Tuesday, Rajanpur police arrested Muzzammil Shehzad and Abid, the primary suspects who were paid by the victim.


The suspects will be brought before the Dera Ghazi Khan court for further proceedings.
Arbela Arpi claims that Muzzammil Shehzad and Abid sexually assaulted her on the evening of July 17 when she was staying at a nearby hotel in Fort Munro.


The Spicy Travel Girl informed authorities in a statement that she arrived in Lahore on July 15 after travelling from Karachi, engaged Muzzammil Shehzad and Abid as her tour guides, and that they took her to Rajanpur, Jampur, and finally Fort Munro, where she was raped.


Additionally, she said that the suspects recorded footage of the incident.
The accused will also be sent to Lahore for DNA testing while the victim will also undergo a medical examination.


The issue has already been came to the notice of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz, who has asked the senior cop in the region for a report. He continued by saying that the offender would face punishment and the victim would receive justice.
