The process of EOBI Biometric Verification is again started for those eobi pensioners who have not yet verified or completed their
biometric process; during the pandemic of COVID 19 the eobi pensioner biometric verification was marked on hold for almost one
year; In year 2020 the notification was issued by EOBI Headquarters regarding biometric of pensioners that they are exempted for
performing the biometric verification as they old age and ill individuals are restricted to go outside; furthermore, the
notification was issued till June 2020; but later on the same biometric verification period was extended till 31 December 2020.
Now as the EOBI management and Bank Alfalah have jointly agreed that the verification process must be reinitiated as most of the
cases are being reported that the old age pensioner(s) have been died but their survivors are still drawing their monthly pension.
Due this issue; the eobi and bank alfalah ltd has started the process. The pensioners are required to visit their nearst bank
alfalah branches to perform their biometric verification till 31-jan-2021, if they do so their eobi monthly pension would not be
stopped or suspended.
Therefore, the month of january 2021 is the month where all those pensioner who have not performed their biometric verification;
they are directed to do the same.
